i cant connect to modem pages to trouble shoot my modem any ideas?

the address you specified is common for routers, not modems.
many modems use 192.168.100.1

why r u trouble shooting your modem? make sure DHCP is on automatic go to start-programs-accessories-command prompt type ipconfig look for 192.168.1.1 (last line) also type ------------------ ping yahoo.com if DHCP is set to automatic modem should be able to be accessed from browser if not go to ebay and type in westell versalink 327 (router/modem) and get a new modem and yes i know it's the small modem you have

um 192.168.1.1 or .254 is ussally the port (80) http interface for configuring your router... this isnt a "site" your connecting to your router.... if you want to connect to your router do this>START>RUN>CMD>IPCONFIG find the default gateway's IP wich should be .254 then make it as a http:// protocol link and click go... it might give you a login prompt, you'll have to deal with that on your own because im afraid the way you worded your questions made me apprehensive to answering considering it seemed to be "themed upon hacking"... no offense...
