If you want fiction and have not read it, you might try the books about Hannibal Lecter. Silence of the Lambs etc.

The real stories are much better in my opinion. But then my favorites are books on serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer , Henry Lee Lucas , Ted Bundy etc. Most people gravitate to Anne Rule in this genre , but i cant seem to get into her writing style myself. Do a search on Amazon in books under Murder Mystery or Murder or Serial Killer and add True or Fiction and it should pop up loads for you to read excerpts from to find what you would enjoy.

RED DRAGON!! Silence of the Lambs was about the same characters and they are intertwined slightly. Excellent novel that tells the story of the agent that invented the system of personality profiling for mass murderers. And the infamous Hannibal the Cannibal.

Forget the fiction - read the "true crime" mob books. If you don't get hooked by these, I don't know what to tell you.
