A vibrator vibrates the air out of cement...makes the cement settle between the forms...air creates what is called a"honeycomb" in the foundation. (Not very pretty looking).
I just KNOW this is what they were talking about. You can rent them at the local rental shop....just walk in and tell the guy's behind the counter what you want. LOL
