I play the bass and its important that my hands stay calm how do you deal with this?I have a concert on weds.

#1 Drink a Rum and coke.
#2 Look at the crowd and smile...your on top not them.
#3 lock in for the first 2 songs with Who ever you need to key in on (drummer?) focus on the music.
after that you should be comfortable up there and start to have a good time.

I sang for many years and I loved it. I was always nervous before going on but once the words came out of my mouth, I realized that I loved it to much to let anything bother me. You have to really love what you're doing.
