What you have described sounds really unprofessional. I hope your mom knows how upset you are.

That's really bad doctor behavior. Sorry about that. If there ever is a next time, I think it's OK to ask your mom to leave. You're not 3 years old. This is an opportunity for you to be independent and have some dignity. That may be in the top 10 most humiliating events in your life. At least you've got one down...

Yes, that was a bad doctor visit. Regardless of your age he should have only had your mother in the room not your little brother. Docs won't examine a minor (under age) patient without a parent present. (legal reasons) He also should have addressed you directly not acted like you weren't even there. Very insensitive and unprofessional of him. Ask your mom if you can change docs

OMG! You poor kid!! I hope your mom never takes you to see that doctor again!! How completely unprofessional!!
Your pediatrician should have had a nurse with him and honored your wish for your mom and brother to leave. He had no regard for you, he was disrespectful of your privacy, and he should have been answering *YOU* -- not your mom.
You didn't deserve that treatment.
I'm so sorry that happened to you.

Be glad your not a girl. We get to lie on a table face up, spread our legs wide open, while a doctor pokes around down there.

hey dude, relax. i can understand why you're feeling outraged/embarassed and i would too if something like that happened to me. but the doctor probably didnt mean it and maybe he's just not good with things like that. do keep in mind though that he's probably experienced and can tell stuff about puberty by seeing genital areas.
hope that helped (:
