I have a friend that told me she has been pregnant for several months, and is considering the option of getting an abortion. I told her her I think it is to late for that... but she doesnt think so. What is the deadline for an abortion?

DONT LET HER DO IT! She has a BABY growing in her! She can put the child up for adoption!!! An abortion will dramatically affect her!!!! I am part of a presenting group at New Life Pregnancy Center and ladies who have had an abortion are SUFFERING. They are confused, thinking suicidal thoughts, just so guilty. DONT LET HER DO IT!!! There is so much pain in abortion. Nightmares, flashbacks. If you cared about her future and HER you would let her know! It is not worth it! If she doesn't want the child put it up for adoption! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!! Too many young ladies have been torn apart by having an abortion. Too many. I don't want your friend to be one of them.

It depends on the state. It can be anywhere from 12-24 weeks. I would encourage you to get your friend to have a sonogram done first. When she sees that even at 12 weeks it's obviously a baby maybe she'd be willing to put it up for adoption instead. I had an abortion about 10 years ago. Mine was for medical reasons that the baby couldn't have survived and could have killed me too. Even knowing that I still feel such horrible regret and guilt. It's not something that can be undone and will be with her forever.

between 20-24 weeks im not to sure but it is around that.
this is because if yuo have it after 24 weeks the baby can still survive. you have to give birth if you decide to abort your baby unless you are only a few weeks where a different procedure is done.

Once you hit 3 months, it can become murder because its no longer just a fetus it is a baby and it has a chnce to survive. If she dont want the kid, give it up in adoption or IM me and I take it. I am sterilize now after 2 kids. I had my dauther at 17, so please dont kill the baby if it past the 3 months

7-12weeks of prenatcy no more unless she want to kill the baby by falling down the stairs or somthing like that but no u cant hav un abotion when ur seven months of preg. P.S just a lil advice if she didnt want the baby then dont let her spread her legs i think that if u can lie on your back and hav sex then u can lie on your back and hav a baby or tell her to give it up for adoption

not ater the first trimester and since she has been pregnant for quite awhile she isnt bale tyo get an abortion just give the baby up for adoption qand why would she want an abotion ne ways shes been pregnant this long

i believe from high school education its like 16 weeks or so, but when your getting that far along they have to do whats call a partical birth abortion. which is where the dr. delivers the baby feet first becasue as long as the head is not out its not concidered a child its concidered a fetus. but anyways the dr delivers the baby up to the neck and then in the nack of the head sticks a pair of sicors in the head and sucks out the brain. i know its sounds so sad, but thats really what they do. i think its murder and should never be allowed. encourage your friend to adopt out. there are a TON of people out there who would love a baby but are unable to have one of their own, and that ways its not concidered murder, well thats my opion. well good luck and i hope she adopts out!!

here in australia it is 12 weeks.
any time after that is requiring a death certificate AND a funeral.
doctors will only abort after 12 weeks if there are complications
