I've noticed the same thing about the makeup - the appearance of lines where there are none and, for me, looking extremely pale.

Here's what I did to switch things up and finish off the bare minerals product:

* kept exfoliating - if you keep exfoliating, your skin will be more receptive to moisture and your makeup will lay better

* switched back to my original liquid foundation. I used the bare minerals powder as a powder to set the foundation or as a concealer... but using it for three purposes just makes people look cakey, I think.

* don't sleep in it. I know they say you can sleep in their makeup when you use it, but that is such a lie. You should NEVER sleep in any makeup.

* use a good moisturizer, especially during the winter.

I love the warmth, too... but I liked it so much better when I started using the warmth and a bronzer together. I actually used the warmth more like a blush and the bronzer more like warmth. Confusing, I know.

Anyway, I hope this helps!

You too!!!!???? I got Bare Minerals and it worked really well for me the first couple of months and now it seems to sit in the lines in my face. I am so disapointed. I just recently switched to Everyday minerals and even though is is very dry on your face, it does not seem to settle in my lines or creases. I always use a facial moisturizer before application even though I have oily skin. You might want to try them out, it works better for me and it is sooooo much cheaper than BE. Good luck and I know exactly what you are talking about!

Not sure if it's the brand or what, but sometimes makeup can get into the lines on your face if you're putting it on too thick or if your skin is not moisturized enough underneath. Try dabbing some of the foundation on the back of your hand and mixing it with a dollup of your face moisturizer, then apply with a makeup sponge. The moisturizer will make the foundation more sheer and help it go on smoother instead of getting a chalky look that can make lines more visible.

That first girl was ugly!! And I agree with the last person. I use Bare Minerals and love it. At one point I think I started putting on too much cause it started caking and making lines and all that bad stuff. But I watched how they apply again and now it's better agian

maybe you are wearing the makeup differently than when you first started.
that could be one problem
because i really doubt that it would be wonderful one month and "line-enhancing" the next.

maybe you should take a few hours to yourself to work with the powders and see what techniques work best for you.

The first girl was mean!! Well just use a different one till you find the right one. Stop using the makeup if you don't like it.
