The best way to turn off pretty much any man is suffocate them with attention. When you do this it tends to annoying the heck out of men because they have a certain desired level of privacy plus men that are "normal" just hate women that do that.
Another way to get rid of the guy is to find out what he likes and go just the opposite, even if you may have to lie. Find out his favorite movie, show, music, etc. and say lots of negatives on it. Yeah, it may involve some talking but when you annoy a person enough they will not want to spend time with you and most likely will change their thoughts on you.
The last idea that I have for you is plain and simple tell him that you really hold no interest in him what so ever and would appreciate it if he would give you the space and no longer feel the need to stick on you or see you as his idle. This may hurt the person's feelings but when you tell him nicely that it is bothering you he should be willing to stop it if he really likes you as much as he claims.

If he is mentally unstable, be gentle.
If he's just annoying, tell him right out that you don't like the way he's obsessing over you. He probably thinks you like the attention, so he's giving you what he thinks you want.
Just tell him what you want.
If he really cares about you, he'll be cool with it.

at least u have guys that obess over and try talking to him online or face to face saying u dont like him in that way and only as a friend

you gotta be nice to him no matter what- cuz if he is obsessive and possesive, he could easily have the "if I can't have you nobody will" attitude. be careful with his feelings. but make it clear that you don't like him.

If he likes your clothes you change it, Your attatude change it. This one boy like me for about two weeks I changed my attatude towards him and he now likes someone else.

If he asks you out or wants to take you somewhere, say "Thanks, but no thanks." and walk away (or run, if need be). Then avoid talking to him at all costs! If you EVER feel threatened don't be afraid to punch or kick him and RUN LIKE HECK!
