hi, i am trying to get my projector to display what my laptop is displaying. i am using a s video cable. for some reason after i hook up the cable to my computer and to the projector nothing comes up on the projector. what am i doing wrong?? i have nvida if that makes a difference. thanx in advance

Fn F7 only works on a Dell. On an HP laptop, it's FN F4. Check your manual or go to the mfg's website to confirm the right combination. If you have anything else, Right Click on your desktop, click settings, change display to Multiple Monitors, reduce screen resolution to 640 x 480 (many projectors cant handle the really high resolutions. then click Advanced. under the General tab, click on Apply New settings w/o restarting. It will save you time while testing. Once dialed in, reboot.

Without knowing the what equipment models you are using, the answers you will get here will be guesses. Try pressing Fn + F7 to choose display modes.

You would want to right click on desktop then go to properties than go to settings and choose number 2 that should work if the hardware is compatible
