I got married at 19, and we planned our baby a year later. We had our first son when I was almost 21 and it was great. We had our second when I was 23, our 3rd at 27 and now Im 30 and pregnant with our 4th and last baby. If you are mature enough then having a baby at a young age is fine. I wasnt much of the partying kind or anything like that. I liked being at home with my family, so I was ready for a baby. Each baby I had I was more mature and I actually did better with my 3rd child. B ut that was from learning. I dont think its a good idea to have babies when your a teenager, but its not impossible for them to be good and loving parents also.

With my first I was 22 and it was the hardest thing I have ever done and the most rewarding. My second I was 23 and it was a piece of cake compared to the first. I am on my third and last and I am 24 and extremely nervous.... but at least I know what to expect and that I can handle anything I am faced with.

18. I'm not "typical" by then I already had graduated (16), a certificate in phlebotomy, and the beginnings of a degree. For me, it was just like being 20 and having a child. It was no harder then any other parent of any age for me. I'm married and live in a nice home--like any other suburban stay at home mother.

I was 19 when I had my son, and 20 when I had my daughter. Some may consider it young, but I was married and we had a good steady income so we were ready. I was totally prepared and love my little darlings to death! The births were quick and easy, just like my pregnancies.

I had my first and so far only child at 27. My husband and I had been married for almost four years at that point. For me it was a good age.

I was 22 when I had my first child. I was a single mom, and it was tough. I had help and support, but it was still tough. I just turned 26 and I am 6 months pregnant with my second child. I'm with someone now, so I'm not alone this time.

First one at 18...that was tough but now he's almost 11 and he's been worth it!
Second I had at 26 and that has been a lot easier.

I was 26 with my first and 29 with my second. I could have never done it any earlier. I wanted to have some alone time with my husband and figure out who I was as an adult.
