i have a college placement test next week and i just can get the math!! i want to take classes that count towards my degree not classes to get to the ones i want please help!!!

You mean you want an entire semester digested into a few paragraphs.. Google 'algebra' and find an online tutorial ... that might get you some basics quickly..

I suggest you do a quick search at google.com for the term "algebraic fractions". You'll come up with a lot of sites that have tutorials on this and explain in more detail. Here are just a few:

I'd suggest aaamath.com. They have mini lessons and some practice "games" for a variety of topics. Good luck- you are trying to cram a year's worth of learning into a weekend.
