Thanks, Anne C., but are you thinking about a logic puzzle?

Matrix is a really simple or general way of writing down a bunch of math problems. take for examples these, made up:
3x+5y+7z=14
-4x-z=1/2
3.7x-14y=0
Writing this matrix basically means to write down the problems without using x y or z.
Therefore,
3 5 7 = 14
-4 0 -1 = .5
3.7 -14 0 =0
From there, it is easier to solve for x y and z.

Use each statement or clue to eliminate incorrect choices first. Put an X in the box of each thing you can eliminate. If the clues give you any positive answers, put an O in each box for that answer. Whenever you make an O in a box, you can then eliminate every answer that goes vertically from the O as well as horizontally from the O. Make Xs in those boxes.

Use logical thinking and the process of elimination to figure out where all of the Os go (in other words, which things are correct).

Good luck, and I hope this helps! :o)

No one can be told what the matrices are, you have to find out yourself.

Blue or red? lol
