I was told by one guy that the fact that I didn't wear makeup is what attracted him to me. What do you think?

It depends on how much "character" your face has naturally. I have had lady friends who don't even own makeup and they look great but I wasn't attracted to them by their looks - their personality was what stood out. In my 40 years of interaction with the opposite sex, it as been my experience that the less personality a woman has, the more she needs makeup. Looks should not be a deciding factor when looking for a mate. Find someone who is your best friend.

Some guys are superficial and shallow, so with them the answer is no. But on the other hand there are a few that don't care if you wear makeup or not.
I personally wear makeup to cover my red cheeks and nose (a gift from my mom...along with semi-frizzy hair). Some days I'll go without when I'm just too plain tired to care.

I agree with him. Makeup just looks strange to me.
I think that women wear makeup to look good for other women, as most men I know don't care for makeup.
The best attractive features are; a smile, a laugh, self-confidence and a happy nature.

Women need to look happy, healthy and well-groomed. If you can pull that off w/o makup, then yeah, that's all good.
Makeup should NEVER be obvious -- if people notice your makeup, then you've got it on WAYYYY to thick.
At some point in the relationship you're gonna see your spouse w/o makeup, w/o hair done, etc etc. It's always good to know that you won't awake to Bride of Frankenstein when she doesn't have her makeup on...

OMG. Me and you are wanting to know the same answer. I always ask my friends do they think i'll ever find another bf. I have NEVER worn make-up before, and I don't plan on wearing it anytime soon. But I think when girls do wear make-up..they wear too much and sometimes it doesn't match the color of their skin. Soo yahh I think guys find that attractive..if they don't they should!

u have to be super pretty with an amazing complextion to get away without any makeup
...so, you like never where lip gloss? or eyeshadow? you're missing out and so are the guys you are trying to woo
no pouty lips = not a pretty girl
BUT if u must avoid makeup try honey on your lips and it'll keep them soft and sweet and smooooooth and pouty!
and make sure u MOISTURIZE lots and often it'll keep u young 4eva

Men do find natural beauty attractive, because the same face they see during theday and out at night is the same face they see when they go to sleep at night and in the morning when they wake up.

Yeah I think it's refreshing to see someone who doesnt load on tons of makeup. It's nice to see people's faces the way they were meant to be. That's a very nice compliment to hear :)

Makeup has been around since women relied on men because of an unjust social system for livelyhood.
