Depends. How long ago? Lost range of motion (ROM) in foot/calf, the calf/knee or whole leg?
ROM can be regained, you can work that stiffness out with physical therapist or medical massage therapist, but I'd make sure that the doc who put in the rod thinks it's ok to hit the slopes, before you try to snow board this season. If you wipe out again, you might have to deal with permanent loss of ROM

the range of lost motion ha mearly scared up ,and calcified
a table spoon of apple cider vinager two times a day for 3 days would soften the plaque ,,then under a course of vitaman E and magnesium gently force the muscles to strech the i
ligament now softened ,thus hold a firm positive presure for as long as it takes ,any real burning pain stop ,easy to self do ,but a little father each day ,discontinue apple cider ,keep the strech by using it a bit further each time
what we hope to do is remove the demons attention long enough he goes to sleep
