The whole thing is that the strap apparently doesn't prevent people from accidentally releasing the Wiimote. Just for those "very special" people, I have a few things to say: Firstly, Nintendo is "investigating" the claims, and are planning on releasing a new strap for the Wiimote. Secondly, it's all down to the person playing, in other words: DON'T PLAY BOWLING LIKE YOU'RE REALLY AT THE DAMN BOWLING ALLEY! There's no need to swing your hand like in real life, a simple arm gesture is all that's needed.

Absolutely not. Your question is a biased claim full of pure speculation. You expect this and that, that doesn't make it true. I also take offense at your titling of the Wii as a "fiasco." The only bad things about it are the fools who misuse it despite constant warnings. It frequently warns you to keep a clear playing space, and also frequently reminds you to take breaks from playing. The real deal is, people are treating it like real life. These are meant to be wrist motions primarily, not swings like you're trying to take someone's head off. Nintendo is clearly protected against any sort of related lawsuit, as any consequences are the gamers' own fault for not playing as they should. After all, hairdryers have warnings not to use them in the bathtub. Let's say I decide to anyway. I get electrocuted and possibly paralyzed. Do I have a legal case against the company that made the hairdryer? No. It wasn't the appliance's fault, but my own. You see?

Nintendo is not at fault in any way. they provide a wrist strap on the wiimote and tell you to wear it before every game. people need to stop getting too antsy and remember that its not real life. There is nothing that will bring down nintendo.

The people who do that are dumb. Nintendo is protected because they say do not let go of Wiimote during play. This should protect them against most legal stuff.

thats nothing compared to the PS3, Sony only manufactured a hundred thousand of them, and they have glitches. ALso nintendo fans are generally peacefull, they play games like mario tennis while Hard core PS2 fans are used to call of duty and medal of honor. It is very unlikely that nintendo fans will revolt

I am sure that Nintendo has acknowledged the many risks involved with the shortages for this holiday season, but that goes without saying that even Sony (PS3) has been under "attack" by the power hungry gamers.
Both companies will have alot to fight for during the Holiday season.

Yellow is totally familiar and skill stand-via is chosen to be "on". this implies the Wii remains in part powered on with the intention to recieve messeges and/or climate and information updates even while the console is "off". you may in simple terms pass into the thoughts menu and swap Stand-via to "off" yet go away WiiConnect 24 "on". this form that is going to continuously skill all the way down (pink gentle) and you do not could complication approximately it overheating. that is going to verify for messeges as quickly as you swap it back on. whether, think ofyou've have been given to teach standby back directly to get admission to the climate and information channels (yet not WiiShop or verify Mii Out). that is how I incredibly have mine set up so it would not overheat or use skill while i'm not homestead for a protracted time.

ummmm, no. here is why:
A: nintendo has already sold more Wiis then Sony has sold PS3s
B: before EVERY game nintendo informs you to use the previded wrist strap so that you lower the chance of letting go, they also inform you that missuse of the product is by no means their falt.
