I've never had much luck with shaving, but some gals do. Trim it as close as possible first. And soak in a warm tub as long as possible - you want the skin and the hairs to be warm. You'll get a closer shave with less irritation. Other than that, it's pretty standard shaving stuff. I do know from experience that solid antiperspirant rubbed over the freshly shaved & dried area helps prevent irritation. And I would refrain from wearing underwear. The elastic legbands will rub wear the hair is regrowing, and it is extremely unpleasant. Also - have you tried the bladeless razor? It's a depilitory - I forget which brand, but I really like it for the bulk of hair removal. Then just shave what's left!

Shaving is really bad for removing hair from that area. You pften don't get all of it and it causes ingrown hair realoly easily.Waxing hurts but you get used to it and its a lot better for you.If you take a pain reliever 30 minutes before you get waxed,it cuts the pain.

no no dont use nair! it is the worst! and wax hurts... this works for me... when i am in the shower lift your leg up on the side of the tub, use shaving cream (gel), and go up but make sure that the skin is wet and wait until the very end of showering so that the hair "loosens" and gets fine.... that normally works for me... i hope it works!

I personally say don't shave at all. I mean, just trim, and keep a normal bush, but it'll just be trimmed. That's what I do, and honestly I think it looks better than completely bare, plus it's a lot easier to maintain.

I know it's not exactly answering your question, but it's my advice.
