I'm not really Billy King, and you got to believe me.
Allen Iverson, as many of you know, has been a sixer for a long time. I thing most people would agree with me when i say that more people today associate Philadelphia with Allen Iverson than the liberty bell. He has helped us to the championship, but his successes are outnumbered by the sixers losings seasons with him on the roster. I was told a quote the other day by a friend. He gave me a quote by Albert Einstein. This isn't verbatim, so please bear with me.
"Insanity is defined as expecting a different outcome while operating with the same method."
It got me thinking. I was thinking Einstein was one smart physicist. Haha, not really. But still. It makes sense to me. We've had iverson for quite a while. We've always tried to make dynamic moves when a new season started after another failure. But i realized its not the elements that surround iverson, maybe the problem solely lies on our star player.

Do you think that the city of Philadelphia will be distraught if we trade iverson, happy, or have mixed emotions pending the results of the move?
I repeat, i'm not billy king. You got to believe me.

Also, please don't tell anybody about this question. We don't want billy king's reputation being discredited because of a hypothetical question asked by some yahoo user. It would be embarassing if Billy King was seeking help from uncertified advisers.

Well, in my opinion they wont end up trading him. Many different reasons. BUT if they do end up trading Iverson. It would have to be a really Good deal. No half assed trade. Trust me fans will not pay to go watch the Sixers if Iverson isnt on the Team. You would need a really good trade to satisify the fans. If not.. well basically will not be pretty.

If Billy King traded Allen Iverson he would lose millions of dollars in Allen Iverson Jersey sales alone. It would be the worst decision he has ever made in his life

He has to trade him. Once a superstar asks for a trade, it's over. Plus, you know you won't get equal value. Philadelphia is in a rebuilding mode for real. Attendance is already ranked 26th in the league out of 30 teams. It's going to be some tough times in Philly for the next few years.

It's not if you should, but if you can. Any team will have to come up within 15% of his contract value. It will also have to be considered in trading another sixer with him, since one team would be very reluctant to send 3 guys for 1. Iverson contract has 40mil left on it.

Allen iverson got traded because he is a ball hog. Eventhough he is good, (my favorite player) he doesnt seem to know how to pass. I was reading the Boston Globe and they said that he doesnt pay attention to directions and could care less. From an inside scoop, (my dad knows the coach) he says that he wasnt even that good.

Yes trade AI. The 76ers should have made the trade 4 years ago. He dosn't do what's needed to help a team win. And never will. A friend of mine met AI in an Atlantic City casino. And Iverson treated my friend with rude language. Some fans think that the 76ers will land a superstar in return. That's not going to happen. So people please relax. They won't get a superstar in return. What it will do is help the 76ers in years to come. They need to change this team. And with Iverson gone it will allow them to rebuild. They will probally get trash in return.

I think it depends on the deal, unless you can land a superstar player who is proven AND young then i would say trade him. Other than that he is untradable, with all his grit and what he has done for the community you will have a riot on your hands.
