It has to do with a hatred of Western capitalism. Liberals in general look to Socialism as a economic model. The "head chopping killers" want to implement sharia law which is a combined political/religious/economic system. Both have hatred for the Western lifestyle as their driving force.
Secondly, liberals think that all cultures are equal and feel guilty that Western culture has advanced while muslim cultures have not. Witness the multi-cultural push to include radical muslims as equal contributors in American society. I have seen what the jihadis have to offer and I personally don't want a part of it.

The "Western World" is doomed, even if every democracy votes in the most extreme leftists. In fact, the Muslims will kill the Liberals first.

They have the same mindset...and want to deprive people of their individual rights, property rights, the right to be an individual within a democracy and it always has to be their way or no way!
