I think for most part she is a good friend but then she keep telling me I should break it off with my guy. And My b/f and I just got back together cause we had a silly little fight for nothing. But my best friend thinks I am should be a bet shame of myself for going back to him and he is probably not worth my time. Even though she has never met him. And other times I would say “o dat guy is cute” (like I want him for me, but she would go after him even if he is not her type ...like how he looks or the kinda music he likes..) So I know she has a little jealous thing. But is this a common thing with everyone or it is just my friend.

She is been my friend for like 6 yr now and she even once said she thinks I have a perfect life which is not true and I tell her everything. And if I go to school and I am dressed up she stares at me like a puppy she say weird comments like who u trying to impress why u wearing that. And she has never meet my boyfriend I am making sure she doesn’t cause I know it is for the best. But we also have so much history and I do love her so much. I am really confuse I can’t break our friendship of so long and she always been this way. Who do I blame myself or her?

I know what you mean. my friends would always get jealous of me, so i think it is a pretty common thing. but you should still be friends unless she does something absolutely horrible. a little bit of jealousy is not so bad........

She's being your best friend by telling you how she feels about your boyfriend. I imagine she wants the best for you more than it being a matter about being jealous of you. And I just answered a question from a girl who said her best friend's boyfriend was always hitting on her (even kissed her)... maybe you should ask your best friend if that's what the problem is!!

It happens once in awhile in everyone i would say , Sounds to me that she is insecure of herself. and she wants to be just like you. but talk to her and be honest tell her you don't appriciate her going after what you want. and tell her that it is your business if you and your boyfriend are back together. and that she has no say in the matter who you see. maybe if you help her find her own boyfriend she would stop.trying to get what you want.

Do you love this friend? Or is this just someone you hang out with? Cuz if it's the second, my experience says you don't need to spend your energy on her.
