Dewey-eyed? Maybe these days I would (haven't seen in in YEARS!) but when I was a kid watching it, I used to outright sob. My Mom would always fall asleep watching TV and when she hated when Little House would come on because I would wake her up every week when I started crying.

One of the worst crying sessions I had over a TV show, though, was an episode of Eight Is Enough when the mother died and Tommy was having a rough time handling her death. Well, the Mom was one of those people who bought Christmas gifts all year long and hid them. They found one she bought for Tommy and gave it to him at Christmas. I cried so hard I made myself sick.

Oh yeah, I love this show. But it was only good when the girls were little. After Laura got married and the Ingles kept bringing in strays it really started to suck. I mean I am pretty sure the show is based on real people and I think they were great people to adopt kids who had no place to live, but it just wasn't the same. They really tried to ride the popularity of the show for way too long.

I watched it and theory the two considerable actors have been very stable. Wilfred Bramble got here upon as lonely and not being waiting to return to words together with his gender whilst Harry H Corbett got here upon as quite a brilliant head. do not know if the two have been real, however the programme replaced into very interesting. It replaced into additionally unhappy that they could not get to any extent further artwork different than for Steptoe and Son.

It's funny you bring this up. My Grandpa used to watch every Sunday night (during the original run) and we all called it his Sunday night cry. He would call me peanut and my rotten cousin Nelly Olsen. Now, I can't watch the show because it is sad and it reminds me too much of him. However, I'm happy to know my Poppy wasn't the only weepy one to watch.
