What happens to the ammonia odor when you add HCl to it?

NH3 + HCl --> NH4Cl

Ammonia plus HCl produce Ammonium chloride.

And Ammonium chloride doesn't have a smell. The same is true for Salt, NaCl, which doesn't have the smell of chlorine.
