well, that depends. does this person like a bowl of KFC, or like chicken. if so, than yeah. but if someone wants something else, like a bike, than they'll think your cheap for buying them a KFC bowl.

I think it is closer to something you might bring to a Thanksgiving dinner. I don't feel it works well as a Christmas gift.
