If she has "body odor" this is a perfectly normal thing. However, it could also indicate a glandular problem. A visit to her doctor may be in order just to be on the safe side.

That's very odd. I'd say that someone smelly must have been cuddling her or something. She shouldn't be stinky on her own yet. When a certain person hugs and cuddles my daughter the odor from this person gets on her skin and clothes. If I didn't know any better I might think it was my daughter's b.o. Sniff test people who are close to your baby before you pin the foul stench on her. I certainly wouldn't have known if a particular perfume wasn't involved!

i would err on the "lets be safe" mode she may have a chemical imbalance, and i'm leaning on the side of ketosis. have a full blood work up and body gases done on her asap. by the way has she lost color or awareness? only a doctor can tell whats going on. the best case scenario is what are you feeding her?

I wouldn't stress over it, but since 18 months is a "check up and shots" age, I'd bring it up to her Dr at her appointment just to be safe.

Use lots of baby powder inbetween her folds....neck....If it's reall smelly..you should take her to the doctor..could it be her urine? A urinary tract infection or bladder infection can cause smelly urine...or maybe her breath could be from her stomach

YES THAT IS POSSIBLE. SHE MAY SWEAT A LOT. AND SWEAT DOES NOT SMELL NICE. YOU MAY NEED TO START HER ON A LITTLE STRONGER SOAP THAN WHAT SHE TYPICALLY USE. MY BABY IS 17 MONTHS. I USE CARESS ON HER NOW OR DOVE WITH THE LITTLE BLUE THINGS IN IT. THEY BOTH KEEPS HER PRETTY FRESH. TRY ONE OF THE SOAPS FIRST TO MAKE SURE THAT SHE'S NOT ALLERGIC TO IT.
