Some things to consider: traditionally, wedding guests don't wear white, red, black, or the wedding colors. If it's daytime, knee length is fine. Afternoon, but before seven, tea length or a cocktail dress will work. After seven, you'll want a long dress. A deep purple or a peacock blue might be nice colors for you.

An evening gown maybe in Satin and light color not to dark, nice pair of pantyhose, the sheer ones. Have a pair of pointy heels. Note Orientals always have a superstition that black and dark colored clothes are not good to be worn during happy occasions. Black and dark are for funerals etc. not wedding. Watever, just wear a smile and everyone looks good smiling. =)

Get a dress that will not make you look like you are one of the "bridesmaid". To be on the safe side, get a or "dark chocolate brown" cocktail dress. If your hair is too red, have it tied at the back to divert the attention to your pretty face. Enjoy and have fun. P.S. get a nice shoes to wear.

It depends on whether the reception is night/day and your body type. I love J. Crew, and they tend to have something for every body shape.

If J. Crew is too conservative, I'd try Bebe:

Whatever you do, do NOT wear white! :)
