Yeah because I belive they are different in some way. the playstation 2 online is a small and slim. and a regular playstation 2 is big and normal, but something inside of them both have't to be different, meaning graphics or appearance wise. so can anyone tell me if they are the same or not and tell me why they are not..so I can prove my father wrong, and tell him that they are not the same. because he keeps saying they are..

the slim one just has the network adapter, which allows you to get online, built right into, whereas the bigger and bulkier one you have to buy a network adapter separetly and the a hard drive can be put into the big one as well, though there are very few games that actually use the hard drive, i dont think the slim one has the hard drive nor can you put one in it.
game wise they play the same and have same graphics

They are the same except one goes online and the other you have to buy a add on to go online.
