should I go for the Wii or PS3?

Should I save up for the PS3 or the nintendo Wii? what's better? ..please explain...(price does not matter)

PS3, it can do everything the Wii can do and more. It even has motion sensors, like the Wii (it is the main controls for the game Warhwk) Theres also Blu-ray disc drive, which normally costs $1,000, thats whyy it costs so much. With memory stick slots on the PS3 makes it easier to transfer videos music & photos onto its 20GB or 60GB hard drive. It also can play PS2 and PS One games, and dvds. The wii cant even play dvds! It has you can also go on the internet and it even has its own instant messeging program, and the wii doesn't. If you have a PSP your able to hook that up to the PS3 and tranfer files from your PSP to the PS3. You will also be able to use it in more many different things in games (like as the controller and rear view mirror in Formula 1). Plus theres games like Resistance Fall of Man, Madden, and Warhawk (which uses the motion sensors). If there are and glitches or problems i'm sure you will be able to fix them with the system updates, just like the PSP has. It may cost more but that's only cuz you are gettin more and at a better quality.

Negative, the Wii has violent games planned (even though a game doesn't need blood and guts to be considered good, in fact most FPS games are now boringly repetitive), and if you buy a console just for graphics then you are stupid.

As far as I can see, the PS3 is bulky, and rips off almost everything from every other gaming system. Wireless? So are the Wii and 360. Online? 360 already is, and the Wii will be too. I have not seen any sort of game worth getting the PS3 for, mainly because most of their games are on other systems anyway. Even one of the PS2's biggest hits is going to hit all of the other systems somewhat soon. The Wii will has as many original titles as Nintendo can whip up. The Zelda game Demo that I've played is amazing in itself, and I can't want to get the actual game. Smash Brothers Brawl is going to kick everything out of the other fighting games, and so what if the Wii controller looks odd, but it is very innovative, and gets you into the game. What's more fun about a shooting or fighting game than actually feeling like you are the one doing the shooting or fighting? All in all the PS3 will flop because of the price and the fact that it's so hyped that people are buying them and then just selling them right away. Nintendo has shown that they can last, and I do not doubt that they will in this Next Gen endeavor as well.

Wii.

The PS3 looks sucky.
It's thinner, which means more chance of a fire, it's barely backwards compatible, and barely has any good game selection.

The Wii, however, has a multitude of good looking ones..

Some I am interested in are Animal Crossing, Zelda twilight princess, Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

And many more. The Wii. Definitly.

It depends on whether you would spend the money on the PS3 and the types of games you like. PS3 has better graphics and more mature games. The Wii has the motion sensitive controller and has games for any audience like Zelda , Mario, or metroid.

depends on how long u want to wait and want by the time u will be able to get a ps3 if it is not already pre ordered for u u will be able to save up for 2-3 of them so i would say get wii first at least get something u will be able to get fast its cheaper so its not like ur spendng a whole lot of money by the time u save up for either and it is actaully a gd system itself for what it is ps3 will still be so hard to get come 4-5 months from now u dont want to wait that long with out either if ur a real gamer

Get the wii it is so much more fun. I'm trying so hard to get one right now. It tottaly puts you in the game. But then again ps3 has the graphics. So choose fun or game play. Which one do u like better??

well it all depends on what you like more!
Wii = complete motion censored with original games. new up coming titels and the new zelda game.

PS3 = more mature games with 6 degrees motion censored, and beatiful graphics with a slightly longer load time, if you have a PSP you can link up wirelessly and play with the PS3!
so really it all depends on what you are looking for more in a system!
