Harassment and insulting others is a reportable offensive. I think it would depend on the degree of insult. It does not encourage debate, which is the purpose of Y/A. Use your own discretion in reporting, and keep in mind that it works both ways. Wit always works better than insults and makes Y/A more fun.

If you are easily insulted, then don't go public with a question that may be dumb or stupid. If you don't like answers to questions that you didn't ask then it is none of your business to report the negative response. I am a big boy and take care of myself when it comes to insults and I don't need you or anyone else to report negative answers to my questions. You can report this answer, I could care less thank you.

Absolutely!!

Most of the people on here are here for the right reasons, so why should we let a few creeps ruin it for the rest of us? I have reported a few people, and they are no longer on here. (Of course they can just sign up again with a new alias....but....)

One guy mentioned killing whatever problem anyone had, even mentioned to one lady to run her daughter over with her car. I checked out all of his answers and they were all violent. He was gone from the system within a few days.

Report away!
