above are medical program names which are offered by private vocational schools. Could you please tell me if they are the same?
because I was told that the diploma will shows " Medical Lab Technician" but another school's diploma will show "Medical Lab Assistant/Technician" . so there are two kind of diploma, but the tuitions almost the same.

I have no idea why the latter offer ASSISTANT /TECHNICIAN at the same time ,which means one diploma shows two name?

Defintely go with the school that offers the Medical Technician. Lab assistants sometimes get stuck doing the grunt work of the lap members. I am not saying in all hospital but all the ones I have worked in have been this way. Med techs have really good jobs and there are far more rewarding when it comes to salary as well. Plus if your interested in traveling med techs are in great demand and can make 4 times more and get all your expenses covered. Defintely try to choose the med tech route you will not be sorry for doing so....Good luck

Where do you live because here a lot of hospitals are hiring nursing students I know the economy is currently bad but just keep trying and if you are certified in phelbotomy and EKG then go to a local temp agency within your city and apply(nothing wrong with a little white lie on the application) just so you can build experience anyway Take Care and God Bless
