Ive always wanted to sing so how would I have a chance to show my talent?

I would suggest starting with Kareoke. If you have any talent you will probably outshine the others singing there, and this will boost your confidence. Singing well has a lot to do with your confidence. It also gives the opportunity to get some feedback from an audience. Good Luck!

I don't mean to sound like Simon, but just because you always wanted to sing doesn't mean you have talent.

I have always wanted to dunk a basketball or throw 90 mile per hour pitches, but it just didn't happen.

I guess the answer is practice with a vocal teacher, and perform in front of someone you trust, and will be truthful with you. After that, either go to an American Idol tryout, or get an agent.

you know, I don't know if this is the best way to go, but.....I'm always checking some people sing on www.youtube.com and actually you can find lots of talented people (as I'm sure u also are) who have gained the respect, you may say, and love from the users there who also check them.
Just type any 'me singing' and then a name of a song and you'll find some people there who are great!!!!!

First of all you have to practice. THen u go to the talent show nearest you.
