I am pretty sure you mean RAM. However, if your computer has only 64 megabytes of RAM, then you could possibly add more.

Can you reply back with the make and model of your computer?

That is not the reason why your computer is having "problems". Problems arise from possible virus and spyware infectation.

I can only guess that you are talking about the RAM, and ir would have 64MBs.
It may or may not be able to accept more.
If it is old, the RAM has gotten more expensive because it is not used anymore.
You can find out wha type of RAM your machine uses by going to http://www.crucial.com or http://www.kingston.com and using their configuration utility.
Just tell it the make & model of your system.
As cheap as new computers are, it might be almost as cheap to get a new computer. Then you would have more ROM and RAM, as well as a much faster CPU.

yes you can add more memory to your old computer, you never said how old it is or what make it is, before your question can be answered people that can answer they would need to know. so lets have the answers
what make is it
how old is it
how many slots have you on the motherboard
type of memory you need

so what I can say to help you out here is guide you to the web, and do a search for memory, of the type your looking for
