If you mean fat people will pay more tax, the answer is no. If you mean however that fatty foods will have a tax slapped on them; this is a possibility. In any event, so far, we do not pay VAT on our food as they do on the Continent. That's coming soon followed by mass starvation, children crying in the streets with swollen stomachs and old men using battering rams to bash down the doors of the gov food warehouses. Oh yeah and big rationing of all food is on the way. Sour foods like hard green apples will be free of tax - eat and die!!

excellent response from Glasto, very funny.

I have heard about this, it is disgraceful. Seems to me Hitler was not the only one who wanted to breed a perfect race. In a sense, sad tho it is, even tho the man is dead, thank the lord, he is still very much alive in the minds today's governments. Also, he is getting exactly what he wanted. Scary huh.

wont be long before you can only make love once a week as it will use up to much energy that is needed to work harder on the production line.

Gordon Brown has tried every other tax - why not a fat tax ? I suppose it could be on a sliding scale.

It makes sense. If you are heavy, you may damage the pavements as you waddle along like a Sherman tank running on lard. And they have to be replaced or others may trip up and fall down and hurt their designer knees.
