You stop making it a goal. Instead of making being POPULAR a goal, you choose to expel your energy into becoming a person that people will like. Not the girl with the best hair or the nicest clothes, but the girl who ALWAYS has a kind smile, who is not afraid to be who she is, and who takes care of herself. Take pride in yourself-hygiene and grooming, confidence even if it's fake-and the rest will follow.
You may never be Prom Queen. But you will be respected and well liked. And you will discover new reason to like yourself. Whatever you do, don't fake who you ARE. People can tell.

If you are still in high school or middle school...this is how to become popular!
1) Become as pretty as possible...sleep lots (the best beauty trick!), lead a healthy lifestyle (don't smoke or drink too much, excerise eat healthy blah blah blah)...wear natural looking makeup (less is more...try maybe some light self tanners and build up gradually) have some healthy hair (long is better)
2. Talk to hot boys...just maybe while you are waiting for lunch, be like "ohh...they need to fire the cook...or omg i'm so excited for the baked potato bar...we needed decent food once in a while" etc...small talk is best
3. Dress stylish: sorry but you are going to have to spend a lot of money on this...shop only at Abercrombie and have as many outfits as possible
4. Get good grades (study hard but also be really social on the weekends with your hot firends)
5. If you are sixteen or over, make sure to drive a nice car...if not just clean it n pimp it out
6. Make sure to go to bed early and wake up early so that you can excersise in the morning and wake up early to straighten your hair and apply makeup..deodroant, teeth, etc... NEVER SMELL BAD!!!

Do you really want to become this kind of person? Someone who is fake and artifical? I mean if you do want to become this type of person look in movies, media, and magazines for the hottest style for girls. However, you might be considered fake instead of hot.

I sure am glad that I was never that shallow . We all want friends but don't make this your only aim in life . Being kind to others and doing good deeds is right up there for more important things in life .
