I would say get a tattoo in an inconspicuous place so that when you're trying to get a job in the future, you can be able to hide it. Personally, I feel that nose piercings and bellybuttons have been done to death. Everyone's got one...so be unique! Get a tattoo that means something to you that someone else may not have. Dare to be different! =)
Just don't get a Chinese symbol if you're not Chinese. It's cheesy, been done before, and half the things people get don't even mean what they think they mean. This coming from a Chinese person.

If you are going to do any of those, it should be your nose. Bellybotton piercing is very high matience, can be easily infected, and only look good on certain people. Deffinately don't get the tattoo, you will regret it when you're older. Think about being a 60-year-old with a tattoo..

If anything your nose (septum, not your nostril) because you'll be able to hide it if you want and no one will ever see a scar if you take it out.
It's what I did. I had my belly button pierced at 16 (before the laws) and now I'm 28 with a really lame scar.

what do u feel most comfortable with?? piercings can be taken out if you dont like them tho, but a tattoo is permanent (unless u can afford the removal) so u may want to wait on that until ur 100% sure u want one and know what u want one of

I am 34 . I had both my tongue and labret pierced. I took both out. My feeling is this. . . piercings are more temporary than tattoos. I would not want to have an exes name tattooed to my hip when I'm 80.

I would go with a piercing because its not permanent so that way if you don't want it any more you can take it out. A tattoo you cant do that as easy.

if you really wanting to do something like that, it is up to you to decide, not a bunch of people on the internet. you're going to do whatever you want, regardless of what i say. think about it, especially the tattoo. you can't take that out or off like a piercing.

Depending on how comfortable you are with your body (I would go with the belly button piercing)
