I don't understand how some people go to the extremes of having all kinds of cosmetic surgery to be accepted....how did it get this way of having to look a certain way and that a odd shaped nose or even too short of eyelashes wasn't good enough? Don't you think we have taken a little too far!?

i think its because of the media, we are made to feel
insecure and unattractive if we are not picture perfect
but if you are a well adjusted person and you like yourself
you will be happy no matter what you look like.

I Live in Northern michigan...not a lot of plastic surgery going on here...i think a lot of it has to do with the persons self image...which really goes back to how their parents made them feel about themselves...i was never told i was fat by my parents...which when i was younger...i really wasnt...it all has to do with self esteem...i am a size 20 and sure i would love to be a size 8 but i am very happy with the way i feel and look...i am sure it is worse in places like cali and florida...but where i live its pretty much redneckville...lmao

its all in the person!! i dont like everything about myself but im not going to go out and have plastic surgery to get it fixed...some ppl have the money and figure "what the heck ill go have it re-shaped,lipoed, or tummy tucked..." to each is own, and its not only in america that ppl feel they need to look their best!!!!
