How bad would things have to get in Iraq in order for you to withdraw your support for Bush? I'm just trying to figure out how entrenched that last 27% is.

Eric K: What in the world do you mean "it" isn't about support for Bush? My QUESTION is about Bush! Don't answer my question by saying it's not the right question.

You're worried about boosting the enemy's morale??? Let me ask you this: do you think that the enemy is refraining from any type of activity because of low morale? That's simply ridiculous.

Yes, I've considered the cost of defeat. It's one of the reasons I'm so disgusted with Bush.

I've got news for you. Iraq *is* effectively under the rule of Iran. Guess who made that possible? Bush.

It is precisely because a defeat in Iraq would be such a disaster that I'm so very disappointed in Bush.

not entrenched, just brainwashed, subbmisive people who think that the government runs the people not that the people should run the government

First of all sir, it is not about support for Bush. It is about support for our troops and for victory. It is sad to know that so many are willing to trade the lives of our soldiers by bolstering the morale of the enemy by constantly calling for retreat.
Have you considered the cost of defeat?
Would you accept an Iraq under the rule of Iran?
Would you accept 6 dollar a gallon gasoline?
Would you accept Iran going on global Jihad using their increased oil revenue, sending Hezbollah to the USA to kill Americans?
Would you accept a new "Great depression" as our energy sources are cut off by our enemies?

You Liberals are so angry at Bush that now that you are in control in congress, you don't even realize that defeat is defeat for us all.

Americans shouldn't be naive. Nobody is leaving. The Iraq Study Group recommends troops staying and getting the oil out. The troops will reconfigured from "combat" to protecting oil. This is against the will of the American voters.

Read the report.

I support the President, but I don't agree with everything he does. I say we're still better off killing them over there than here in our streets. We're fighting mostly insurgents there - those are the same type of dungheaps that did 9/11. You apparently have a problem with that. I don't. I do have a problem with his stance on illegal immigration and that entire mess. Hope that helps your clarity issues.

Sounds like you want things to go badly?
Even if you don't like Bush think about what happens if we let Iran run Iraq by proxy.

Iraq isn't the only thing going on - you do know this, right?

I am still trying to figure out why everyone hates him so much. WTF is wrong with people? I understand not liking him because how Iraq was handled, but I don't understand these idiots saying, "oil!" or "hitler". It actually makes me support bush knowing I am not one of these idiots.
