Where were you when you first heard he had been killed? I was in high school and just got in the car about 11:30 at night just having come home from a wrestling meet when I heard it on the radio.

I was 7 years old and heard it on the little pink single speaker radio I never turned off. I remember asking my mom why was he so important, and as soon as the old beatle songs started playing I knew exactly who he was.

I'm 32 now but I remember my parents going nuts over the whole ordeal and my mom was crying, and she was pregnant with my sister. i was only six, but I remember. RIP John Lennon
