They are cheaper in the outlets, but the choices are limited. You'll do better by just getting her what she likes, not just because it's Coach.

I actually have run across this amazing online store and then picked up one there. Not really awesome about their delivery speed however did save money around 70% and very pleased to have this. The quality is really decent and right until today not find any problems.

DEFINATELY OUTLET MALL! A Coach bag at Dillard's or a retail store (size of about 1x1ft.) would be about 400 dollars or so...I bought one at an outlet mall for 250 the same one i saw at Dillard's for 400...!

The actual Coach store prices are killer.
Dillards sells it for about the same prices as the Coach store.
The Coach outlet is your best bet.

I have run into this outlet online and decided to buy one there. Not totally awesome on the shipment speed however did save approximately 68% and perfect to find this. The quality is definitely fine and also till now not find a defects.

You can get imitation coach bags for very little, sometimes even at stores like Marshall's or Ross. Without having any data to back it up, I'd imagine that a lot bags sold on eBay are fakes. It takes an expert giving a close inspection to even tell. Just because it's an imitation doesn't mean it's not quality--I know girls who only buy imitations because it's affordable and just as sexy!
