you can calculate the mass number which is the sum of protons and neutrons, so it is 8+9=17. The mass of electrons are negligible.

But you ask for atomic mass which is usually the weighted average of all isotopes...

Atomic mass = #protons + #neutrons.
Thereore, Atom A has atomic mass of 8 + 9 = 17

Go to www.wikipedia.org and look up the mass of an electron, the mass of a proton and the mass of a neutron.

(proton mass x 8)+(neutron mass x 9)+(electron mass x 10) = the answer.
