A reference isn't necessarily made to him, but if he isn't mentioned then there is always a visible shot of either the magnet or the superman figurine on the shelf.
See. This is what you get when you read Maxim for the articles.

Take my word for it. There is an image of or reference to Superman somewhere in every episode of "Seinfeld". I can personally promise your that. For instance there is an episode of Seinfeld where Seinfeld ends up racing an Old friend of his from Highschool and when he's running in slow motion you can hear the SuperMan music.

It is said and used as trivia that Superman appears in every episode, usually as Jerry's fridge magnet, but if not there somewhere else.
Seinfeld is a fan, and did at least one if not more American Express card ad with an Animated Superman. His fandom is well known, and clearly explained in the Superman was created by two young Jewish Men w/ the Initials JS

I've heard of that bit of trivia before. Technically, there is a Superman reference every episode just because of the decor of Jerry's apartment. I believe he has a Superman statue somewhere in his apartment. But there's usually also at least one line which alludes to Superman, Lex Luthor, Bizarro, etc. For instance, in one episode in which Jerry's girlfriend always wears the same dress whenever he sees her (and even in all her pictures), he comments that maybe she has multiple dresses just as Superman has multiple costumes. It's usually little things like that. One of the most blatant Superman references is in the episode "The Bizarro Jerry" in which the characters meet their "Bizarro" counterparts.

Wow, what a coincidence!
I just watched an episode of Seinfeld earlier this evening, and in this particular episode, Jerry said that his ATM passcode was Jor-El...Superman's father.
I was just telling my husband that would make a good Trivial Pursuit question...
