Everyone gave you great answers.

However, God is the creator of heaven and earth.

There is math is many Bible passages.

There is a lot of math involved when creating EVERYTHING we know.

I would say: God created math and everything else we know.

God created humans and humans play with math.

The thing about math is that it's logic underneath; people discover math, not invent.

If you take any two straight lines and make an x, the angles opposite each other will be equal; that's a discovery. Nobody invented that to be true; it just happened to be.

Numbers though are an invention. Math is also a VERY broad subject with its own specialized areas. It would be like asking who invented science.

What everyone else said... it wasn't "invented", and certainly not be one person. There were many people who contributed to everything we know about math today.

Believe me, it is far older than the human species, and maybe even older than the earth itself. There are ancient pyramids on Mars, and the moon that may be billions of years old. We are by no means the only, or first intelligent species in our solar system.

I don't think there was a single inventor. I also don't think that person's name is known as math, in some form goes back to prehistoric times.

I think the idea of one plus one equals two goes back over 100,000 years, back before people were writing things down, so nobody knows.
