what is wrong with someone when they think they were put here for no good and god doesn't love them?

They are depressed. Maybe because of what they've been through in the past or what they are going through they believe that God doesn't love them because since he controls every thing why are they going through it? And if they think they were put there for no reason maybe they have low-self esteem because people might have told them that they would never amount to any thing or they might have got the idea from some one.

This is a problem, not just with religion, but with our society in general. Despite what the PC brigade would have us believe, it is obvious that we cannot all be "winners".

In religion, it must be even worse. You pray, you follow whatever book you think gives the best chance of a golden ticket, and nothing happens. When you use religion as a crutch to carry you through life, what happens when it gets woodworm?

I think that person doesn't have faith and doesn't believe in God. we all have a reason to be on this world. we don't know what it is but one day we will know. I personally think if God is punishing you by taking the things you love the most is because he is going to give you something better in return.

Then i would say that person needs to seek some mental help...i've been there...and it's not a good position to be in...everyone is meant to be here...get help...please

I feel that anyone who feels this way needs to learn how to love and how to be loved . Then maybe they can learn Spirituality and so on .
