Just be yourself. Don't try and be anyone else. Someone who is popular, does not stay popular forever. Those people who you thought were your friends were probably not your friends. You can be your own best friend.

Nothing just stops. Look around you and talk to your old friends. It is really hard at your age and stage, much as you hate to hear it, high school is really hard and all the games that go on in it. All you can do is be yourself. Maybe you need to worry less about being popular and more about learning how to be a good friend.
Beware of gossip...the he said she said game will ruin any friendship quickly. Hang in there...it will get better.

At that young age things are crazy one day your popular then your not then the next u might be popular again. When u r popular don't let yourself get big-headed and think u r better then everyone. Be friendly and u will b sure 2 get true friends that will stick around no matter what..

Hm, if you're 13, I'm guessing you're around the age that Junior High ends and High School begins? That could simply be it.

High school is often a time when relationships get a little strained because there are so many people...try to make friends with people who share your own interests; a club or sports team will help with that.

Good luck! It can be lonely, I know, but it's temporary.

Hey,

popularity changes by the day. One day you're on top, the next, well you're not. That's normal. Having a best friend with a flick of a finger is impossible (if not, it doesn't last too long). Look up you're old friends, spend time with them, talk with them about everything, specially things that concerns them. And eventually, you'll find your best friend.

Ok this happened to me in 7th grade(im now a sophmore) I joined the cheerleading team at my school and made at of really great friends that way. Join a club that you think you may like to meet new people. Talk to people you won't usally talk to. Maybe try a new lunch table. Talk to some friends who aren't your best friend and hangout with them more in time you'll get a best friend.

join a sport!!! Its all about a sport!!! you join a sport your good at, youl eventually make a frend or two and that can begin to grow into gooood relationships. Plus on the popularity thing..if you join a sport and are really really good then youll most likely play all the time and possibly grow popularity out of that. Pick a good sport too...like as in obvious popularity choices...as in cheerleading, pom, or basketball, or even soccer!! goodluck and have fun!

so your popular friends just dumped you, huh.
Go and just like sit at lunch with maybe some of the quiet and/or smart Girls. Get to know them and see if you like them better then you did your popular friends. Unless you treated them like crap when you were popular, then your skrewed.
But seriously since you where once popular and most people know YOU, you should get to know THEM.

Well are you in highschool now, what happend what changed,

did you fight with them or change schools, or what?

you gotta tell us more honey,

But FYI- making friends is easy, just be honest and sincere, make sure you always have something nice to say about everyone, and make sure school comes first if you want to meet quality people.

It's not that you have to be yourself , it's that your going to have to find your place in your age group . Because your stuck in limbo , between being a kid and now being a teenager , I'm sorry baby you've got me stumped I'll ask my Daugherty then if you write again I'll have something better to tell you .
