There was never an "always wanted to be". What I have wanted to be has changed one way or another over the years. However, there are many things I'd almost always hoped I would or could be and, by accident, maturity, experience or sheer will, have come to be. But, there are things I never wanted to be that have also come to pass. I guess if it was all good, upward progress, that might be wonderful, but where would be the challenge?

No. What I've "always wanted to be," has changed a lot over the years, but I can say that I'm very happy with who I am and where I am in my life, not to mention I've got lots more life left to live.

yes and no. i have always wanted to be what i am to day. if i went back and time, and looked at what i am today, i would say that is my role model. but i am not perfect. hey. no one is, and that is life and nothing can change that. i make mistakes ever day of my life and yet i am still proud of myself for believing that i could be what i always wanted to be. and that makes me feel like the most out standing person in the world.

We know that we want to "be" something, right? That approach does not give us a sense of eternal being. And it shouldn't. No way.Being something we embody a form of chosen or , rather realized potential. And forms is not forever it is mortal, and especially if we stuck within chosen form From big perspective we stuck in human body...and getting painful illusion of death...body dying yes, but we are not.Still, as we are identifying ourselves with body, and so there we are..are we body? How about just to "be" ? Without any additional meaning? It does not mean that we should stop to create forms, but means not to be in it, rather embrace it...And , logistically, when form dies you are free to create something else. As long you grasp and develop that state of Being then you will never taste death Biblically speaking. So, who we truly are?

An underemployed fat clown, with hands damaged from 19 years of computer programming, bad knees, hips, shoulders from sports, who just finished a second masters degree only to find out that the employers in the field usually only hire people part time...... Definitely not.

I haven't "always wanted to be" anything. I've changed my mind a zillion times and I'll change my mind a zillion more. Until I finally figure anything out, I'm content where I am and where I'm going.

I don't know if I am all I ever wanted to be. But I am certainly happy with who I am. I never wanted to be anything specific anyway.Probably why I work the trade I'm in.

No. I think as the years pass and I experience and learn different things, I say to myself " I should have been this, or that, or this....". There is too much I enjoy to ever settle for being one thing. So, I do what I have to do, and keep learning and living.
