Suppose a sword is 17 in long. It is 2.7 in wide. Also it is 0.007 in. thick. How much force would i take to drive it through a block of lead that is 17g/ft^2. The block is 30 in long, 20 in wide, and 15 in thick. HELP!

it would depend on the density of this swords material, and the sharpness of the point as well as the taper, as the surface area plays a big factor

just kidding but seriously I dont know. Maybe you should go out and buy a sword exactly like that and hit a block exactly like that.
