Well
I found many interesting info about sciatica here: http://curesciatica.toptips.org

While looking for a miracle cure, it has to be understood that sciatica pain in itself is not a disease. It is actually a symptom or a group of symptoms with an underlying cause that needs to be targeted if some sort of permanent pain relief is what one is looking for. But one thing is absolutely clear. Incorporating a few exercises that have a beneficial effect on sciatica pain in daily regime is of great help and whether a patient is taking drugs or not, these exercises ensure that his muscles are kept in a toned condition that lessen any flare up of pain. Just a few stretching exercises can bring about a drastic change in the levels of pain and signify the importance of exercise in the management of sciatica pain.
Cheers.

The best way to find a good chiropractor is through referrals from friends, family or people you know. Do you know anyone else who had similar problems? Ask people around the area you live.

Each Chiropractor will have a slightly different technique, so you may have to try more than one to find one that works best for you.

One good place to find a Doctor of Chiropractic that specializes in low back pain and issues is to look for a Cox Certified practitioner. http://www.coxtechnic.com

If you had a doctor you liked before, you can find out what school they went to and go to that schools website to find list of doctors in your area from that school.

I can't help you with a recommendation, but I can tell you how a Chiropractor helped me with sciatica trouble. He did some muschle stretches in my legs, he did a deep massage in my lower back along with adjustments. Additionally, he gave me some stretches to do at home daily. Oh yes, he had me taking a Magnesium and Calcium supplement. All I can say is that compared to another person who got treated through his MD, mine recovery seemed to be quicker and more permanent (they still have to do the stretches). Best wishes.

Rather than spending your money on a chiropractor, just get this book and do the moves yourself:
http://www.amazon.com/Overcome-Neck-Back-Pain-Laughlin/dp/0684852527

It's written by perhaps the foremost authority on back pain relief. Read the reviews. Or, you can take my word for it... the "exercises" are easy and very effective. Back pain, sciatica, headaches... all gone after just a few simple stretching exercises.

Stay clear of any chiropractor--- any remedy you could get could be transitority, and could even irritate the rationale !!!!!! Seek your consistent MD's recommendation at the right remedy
