its silly friday and i'm thinking back to my youth when me and the brother used to kick seven shades of shite out of one another watching monkey, 30p pocket money, coke luckybag and not much else back in 79/80. anyway how long before your mam give yiz a clip round the ear for "fuckin about"?

Monkey was absolute classic T.V. We used to watch Monkey, then Harold Lloyd, the a kick up the eighties with Rik Mayall.
The characters in monkey were supreme, I had no favourites, if one of the tribe was missing, it would just not be the same.
My mum made my Little bro a monkey outfit, she made the stick out of a broom handle and my dad welded him a brass head band. Couldn't make a flying cloud tho'
