I work in a public library so I laminate papers every single hour but my friend told me it can be bad for my baby!!! because the heat cointains harmful rays for my baby. can someone tell me if this is true?

No. One of my co-workers used one a lot and she was pregnant with twins and they were both healthy.

So long as the heat isn't being applied directly to your belly, your baby should be fine. Just make sure the laminator isn't sitting on your lap or close to your belly (we have a laminator that is small enough that it could fit on a lap... I don't know the size of the one that you're using).
