So I was in the process of setting up a wireless network in my apartment. I plugged the blue plug that came with the router (looks pretty cheap wire) into my ethernet port on my labtop and plugged the other end into the router. The blue cord is now stuck in my labtop port. I've tried wiggling it and pulling but nothing. Any suggesstions? Can I take the back panels off and push it through from inside, like with a pen? thoughts?

Have you tried pressing the little plastic lever in before pulling out the cord?

This happens often. Try using a small screwdriver to press against the plastic release. Just be careful not to damage the Ethernet port.

Identify the release clip on cable. If it is difficult to press, slide down the plastic booth that covers it. This should give you more space to work with. Then try and press the release clip and remove cable simultaneously.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, both of those laptop come with terrible integrated graphics. Try finding a laptop with ATI or Nvidia graphics card, And not Intel HD. So neither of those laptops really qualify as a 'Gaming Laptop'
