I agree with "Fishing66". The product "Nevrdull" (I know, wrong spelling but that's how it's spelled) can be used on most anything that's metal. By the way, did you know never to clean brass with an ammonia product, like Windex? Ammonia pits brass. Good luck to you!

"Neverdull" is the only thing I'll ever use to polish brass, chrome, silver, or anyrhing else. It was the only product to use on a submarine's brass which kept it from turning green from salt water right away.

There are three things I do.
1. Polish with 'Brasso'.
2. Rub with lime juice and ground brick powder.(just take a red brick, break it to pieces and powder them).
3. Give it to someone who specialise in cleaning them professionally.( My grandfather had some vases which were over 60 years old and when they were cleaned onone could believe that they were so old: they looked so new!)

lime-away....or any mild acid, will remove heavy oxidation...then follow with a brass polish to make it shine.

make a paste w/ lemon juice and salt.....use as you would the brass paste
