I saw G N' R this week in Canada. Let's say there were 12,000 people, and Ticket sales was 6 million dollars at one venue.
How does it work? Does the band's record company rent the venue for like maybe a million dollars for that nite, then they take the rest? Or is like contingent on sales, AND the venue takes a cut, for example, 10% of gross ticket sales, or whatever?
I'm just curious about this. Thanks!!!
